seems like you are the only one that understands what happen with the 2.93 swap and the 2.8 slipping

I changed to the 2.93 and little did i know the car was making a lot less power. After the first dyno pull with no changes the car put down 477 and i was 520s before. He leaned the car out since it was rich due to the larger pulley and added 1 degree timing. And no the car wasnt detuned. The 2.93 pulley not slipping made the difference. The 2.93 is making more boost because the 2.8 wasnt getting its full potential. The 2.8 should have made more like 19-20 pounds of boost which stegemier even has on their site for the stage 5. I'm happy with 2.93 numbers being more efficient for the blower. My boost stays the same to 6500 rpms. Boost never drops off. Whammmmmmmy ROUSH!

Yep I put it on earlier. I got a 78.5 8 rib on. That 6 rib was a 79. I actually have 1 100mm 2 90mm and the bottom idler is stock. My alt pulley is 3.5 I believe.

So did you put the belt on yet?

Well youre running an 81" belt right now, with a 2.93 upper/4lb lower with 3-90 mm Idlers. Is your Alt. pulley stock? Because I run a 79" belt and I have a 2.80upper/4lb lower with 3-100mm and 1-92mm Idlers with a 4lb Alt pulley. I hope that size works for you....

Oh I know. I wasnt saying anything against it at all man. I was just letting Shane know why you were thinking you had belt slip.... Thats all. I had to run a 6rib belt just so I could get my car home from doing the blower swap. I went half throttle and blew the belt right off.... Haha.

thats all i could get at the time. I got the 6 to be able to go on the mexico run. I bought a 8 rib today.
