I know it uses a Torsen diff somewhere, but I don't know if they mean up front, or in the back? What kind of diff is it running at both ends and in the middle?
In basic terms, 4motion is a hydraulic pump and clutch pack that sits between the front and rear diffs. when the speed of the input shaft from the front diff is faster than the output shaft to the rear, the pump applies pressure to the clutch pack and then to the rear wheels. as such 4motion is not full time awd.
