Default Re: Any good driving schools?

Then if you are ready to take it to the next level, you can try Driving Events or DEs which are held at race tracks. There are two tracks that are relatively close VIR in wester VA (about 2-3 hrs away) and Sumit Point in West Virginia (about 60+ miles outside Washington DC, 3-4 hrs away).

Both tracks routinely have DEs sponsored by different clubs and racing organizations. The best one I would reccomend for you would be Friday At The Track (FATT) which is conducted by BSR at Summit Point. That was my first driving event when I too wanted "to see what my car could do." The nice thing about FATT is that it is only one day, Friday, and it is not too expensive (about $150 when I last did it).

After the stuff I learned at FATT, I never looked at on/off ramps the same again !!
