As for stait aways at VIR it was just an example, I was comparing class to class......If he's good he's good I just dont believe that he knows more than Nissan motorsports, and thats where I learn from, hence my knowledge of Nissan......We'll see what happens on the course.....
The events I attend are not racing like you describe. It is a HPDE. They do not put your car in a class based on HP or any other crietria. Go to the Mazda and the NASA site and look at the information they have.

I am not my car. I have made no claims to the power/ability of my car to you or anyone else. We do OK in the autocrosses. I get beat by some in time and more in PAX. It does OK at the dragstrip. My car is a daily driver that I use for work. I put 6 year olds in the back seat and drive around with them. That is all part of my job. It is not designed to be a pure race car nor have I ever said it was. I take it to the track to have fun. Insulting my car does not hurt my feelings. It just shows how little your truely know about me as a person. With all that said do you currently own a car that can compete with mine on a roadcourse? I have put the time and money into building the car I have. It has not been cheap and I have enjoyed most of it. It is a complete package, Brakes, Engine, Suspension, Oil Cooler, Gauges, etc. . I am proud of my car but fully realize that all it takes is more money or a more aggressive approach to build a faster car. Remember it is a daily driver that I use for work with kids that have disabilities.
