Not totally true....

High compression and turbo, or nitrous is good, but the margin for error in tuning is alot smaller.

So the normal consensus on the boards I have noticed is use lower compression for turbo and nitrous.

The main thing to worry about is fuel and ignition. Obviously not enough fuel and you will detonate. And to much ignition you will detonate. Also a factor is heat. If the runs on nitrous specially, are done back to back you can have problems melting spark plugs, and valves, as well as a higher chance of detonation....
