hahah. ive never had a complaint. ever. its all about her on vday. as long as you give her the attention and not the TV... and the girls you've been with are greedy then or summin. or you just handed them a single rose and said.. whtever. flowers are just a gesture of politeness. they really mean nothing. its about you. and her. closeness. attention. sharing. flowers are just the ice breaker. you can bring her arms full of whatever.

the only reason i can think of a women wants lots of flowers/balloons.. is if you send them to her and do so in a public place. so she gets to show off. =]
