what about the weight of cars. the greatest thing about the civic hatchback was how light it was. i don't seen any company designing light weight vehicles. i read something in SCC a while ago that went along the lines of "making a car heavy is to help it be safe in an accident, but making a car lightweight is to help it avoid the accident in the first place."
more into lighter chassis and reinforcement like titanium and carbon kevlar or fiber....
