message wont wake you up for a sleep, but you will know you got a message if you are awake. Unlike a call when if you are sleeping it wakes normal people up.

Mesages are a safer way to check up on you to see what you are a doin. Much like why I text you when you are at work, they are hardly noticiable except by the beholder of the cell phone.

but I do agree that a sidekick sucks unless you are a fat man.
