hold on...unless the timing chain broke, you probably don't need to replace it. How do you know that it needs to be replaced, did someone (mechanic/dealer) tell your friend that. THese cars have timing chain guides that make clicking sounds when the chain loosens (tensioner goes slack) and starts slapping the guides. The chain rarely breaks but the guides "eventually" will and will fall down into the engine. This rarely happens but it is usually good practice to take the guides out just in case. My 98 clicks and so has every other 240 I've seen. The older sohc KA's were very bad for it. Let me know if this helps. John
