this is the basis for what I am saying (to make it clear to others). If I went into a Mazda dealer today and purchased a new RX-8 (which wouldnt happen) I could purchase MazdaSpeed parts for the car (which would be considered OEM). But, it would not "look" OEM to a police officer and would not stop him from pulling me over and issuing me a ticket. It "might" get thrown out in court but that doesnt stop me from being harassed. Like I said, I am going to try to make it to the library tommrow (block away) and try to find info on these violations because it should be a manner of public record. I will post up that info when I have it.
