Drag racers are adrenaline junkies addicted to raw acceleration. What's so hard to understand about that?
I am not an avid fan of drag racing...I will go and watch however since its a bit interesting. I can only imagine the adrenaline from a pro funny car or top fuel car or even a 1000whp fwd dragger. I think its does take skill, reflexes ect....but I dont think (and I am no expert here) that the skill, endurance and physical shape required to pilot an F-1 car is even close ....of that required by a drag racer.
And the adrenaline of a WRC driver driving down windy snowy roads at night in speeds 4 times faster then the road is designed for must be amazing
