I have the Eibachs and the ride is just as good as stock or better and it lowered it almost 2" all the way around. Now that they have settled it is hard to get a jack under the car without driving up on boards and it is hard as crap to get it on a drive on lift for oil changes and alignments.

As for state inspection you should have no problem because the springs look stock except for ride height and no body really knows what the hell this car is supposed to have on it. Plus I think the only way they can fail you is if the springs are not of a oem quality which Eibachs are.

Here is a picture of mine after being lowered but before they settled. Now that they have settled the tires are right at the fender if not slightly tucked up front and right at the fender in the back.

That srt looks hella lower than my dsm. I don't see how you guys can drive cars around that are lower than mine, I have a hella time just getting around w/o scraping my stock muffler or my front bumper or sometimes the middle support. Even when I do the whole riding sideways to get over stuff thing.
