[QUOTE=93DX]i have cleaned out the throtal body plate and were it seals. It was nasty as crap
but it is still doing the same thing[/QUOTE
well more than likely you need to adjust what we call the thermo wax valve. its the little thing on the bottom of the throttle body, it has 2 coolant lines on it, one comes from water neck or head, then goes out to the iacv on the back the intake manifold which has one more line going out of it back to the motor somewhere.
so yeah, this valve has no wires going to it. there is a plate on the end most likely facing the firewall. {2} 8mm/phillips head screws hold the plate down. loosen one screw remove the other, swing the plate down and tighten t he white thing in the middle. use a big ass flat head to twist it down, it doesnt have to be tight at all just very barely bottomed out. reinstall the cover plate and ur done.
also the iacv and thermowax valve need to be installed and the coolant lines plumbed correctly. often people with intakes fuck up the routing of these hoses.
last but not least pull the idle air screw out hte throttle body, clean it and t he hole it goes into with carb cleaner. reinstall and adjust. and by george change the fuckin pcv valve and hose!
