if you are going to swap in another motor for it, just break down and get the 1.8L DOHC BP motor, tranny, ecu and wiring harness out of a 91-96 Escort GT/Mazda MX-3. they are good, reliable motors, plus there is aftermarket support for it unlike that 1.9L SOHC SEFI you got in it now.

and Adam, that Escort that they did on Pimp My Ride looked pretty damn good with that BMW body kit and headlights on it. and people were putting that BMW stuff on there 2nd gen (91-96) Ford Escorts before WCC did.
