Factory stock both rev limited to 9,000. Well, RX-8 starts buzzing at 9,000 and cuts ignition at 9,650rpm's. Pre-2005 S2000's cut at 9,000RPM so I'd say they are both pretty much for all intents and purposes limited at the same level. Sure, a rotary by design has potential to go higher, but a well balanced and designed standard piston engine can rev right up pretty high too.

LOCO: You may want to stop while you're ahead. The bullshit cloud is choking me. Having met Chris and Terry both, its blatantly obvious you're talking out of your ass.
