You'll win. Crossfire injection Vette's were garbage. My dad had an 84 with the same shit and it had nothing but electrical problems and was quit slow.

He has an 89 with an L89. Definitely not the fastest, but it's got some torque and feels pretty peppy. My dad said he won't race me in my TA. He told me he has nothing for me haha.

So unless you can't drive worth a shit you'll beat him.
