yeah well dual sports / street legal dirtbikes aren't exactly up to par with a real dirtbike lol... for one, by law the tires have to have a certain contact patch, basically they are more of a street tire (for obvious reasons) and don't do as well in the dirt. Plus, the shocks are usually softer than they should be, not to mention the extra weight, plus if you're looking for a dual sport, you don't have the choice of a 2 stroke engine because of noise and 4 stroke bikes cost more.

i was lucky in WI, my buddy was a team rider for KTM and had plenty of land, so KTM helped pay for him to haul in dirt... he has over a 1 mile long track running around his house with every kind of jump you can imagine... damn that was fun

oh well, i'm sure i'll find other things to spend money on.
