HID bulbs in a non projector housing look like shit and causes extreme amounts of glare, and yes, they do run cooler and will not melt your housings. Like someone said before the r6s have a nice setup already. Although you still have your standard 55w bulb in there, the projector to people infront makes the light look purple/blue. Sorta like how a s2000's headlamps are when you are in front of them. I'm sure with HID's they would look sick.
