Why? As long as you could turbo it and drift it, I don't think the enthusiast would care. I'll put it like this:
If Nissan reintroduced the R34 Skyline GT-R and sold them to Chevrolet who in turn badged them as the Camaro Z28 and sold them in the US for $40000, I would buy one because it's one hell of a car no matter whose name it on it.
