Man best bet is jail. I know it's your dog and you feel stronly about seriously hurting someone, but it's not worth it in the long run. Trust me I know how you feel. The police killed my dog because she was slowly approaching them while barking and they're the ones that woke her up and enticed her out of the building she was in.

She took two bullets to the head and was still alive, but she was too far gone and we had to have her put down. My dad and I couldn't see her in the pain she was in. Her ears were full of blood and she was breathing uncontrollably. Jesus Christ I don't want to even think about it.
