I know, and you're just reconfirming why it would be a better deal to buy the R32 Jetta as it sits from Underground in FL.. lol
The only shop around here that I would even remotely trust to do that kind of conversion.. err.. actually.. I wouldn't trust them.. but they would probably want $7,000 just in labor to do that kind of conversion, if not more.
I think Jeff @ Underground is going to be looking for $25k-30k for it, but hell.. it's worth it! It's a one of a kind.. he's doing it on a Jetta that IIRC was barely damaged on the truck and virtually brand new. If you don't know who I'm talking about, he's the one who buys all the wrecked cars and parts them out. He got a wrecked R32 and a GLI with almost nothing wrong with it... Good buy though.
