Tell you what, I see an animal in the road I will go out of my way to not hit it, a person on the other hand, I'll move just so they don't mess up my car, there only lucky I don't have a big truck or whoa, would they be in trouble (and me of course) and your damn right I would save my animal at risk to myself.
