its hard to stop 25,000 lbs when you are coming up at a stoplight at 45 mph just as it turns yellow, especially when you are only 70 feet away. i drive a rollback for a local company and i have stopped in intersections before. but one second difference and by the time you come to a stop you are already through the intersection. its a lot different than in a car where people speed up to run a light.
i never met john drees, but that accident effected everyone in the towing community. and i've met bobby a couple times. my condolences to both families. hopefully it will end here, and no one else will try to take justice into their own hands.
