Default Re: choices

I was just talking to someone yesterday who rode dirtbikes and tried a streetbike, while yes, there are a lot of simalarities he said that it was different and he almost wrecked. I personally am getting my own first bike but I am going for used. I figure I will drop it so I don't want to drop something I paid a fortune for. Plus I also figure that I will plan to upgrade to a larger bike in the future so I figure I wouldn't by new if I planned on upgrading once I do then I will. I don't know your situation but based on mine mixed with my friends I would reccomend used if you have the money to buy new you can buy a used bike nearly new for a couple grand less. Another thing I can reccomend is frame sliders... I personally have seen them save a ton o'shit. Just my $.02, take it for what it's worth.
