not true. you can take your rejected car anywhere for another inspection, its just that they have to do a complete re-inspection of the vehicle and you pay another $15.

its better to fix what is wrong with the car and take it back to the same place because usually they wont charge you for the re-inspection. however they do have the right to charge you $1 when you come back in addittion to the first $15 you payed for the cost of the sticker, but most places wont charge you a dollar as a customer service.
