Re: SMS horrible service
Nick, sorry to hear about your friend's delay yesterday. It was a miscommunication on an appointment time. Further, Heather did contact me last night wanting to give the guy a deal due to him having to come back today. Missing appointment times obviously isn't the shop's norm nor will it be.
My only thought though is why didn't you PM or call me to give me a chance to fix it? If I go somewhere to do business and I don't get the answer I want from the manager/sales person I have no problem at all with asking to speak with the next supervisor up. Additionally, your friend wasn't upset and was very understanding yet you took the time to tell everyone in the world.
As for your appointment, no one "pulled" you off the dyno. I talked to Ed about this issue this morning and he said it was the normal progression tune. Once he is done with the dyno portion of the tune, it isn't unusual for us to pull the car off and let him finish his small program tweaks with the car outside or just behind the dyno.
I normally don't respond to this stuff, but in the future, and I think I speak for all the people at the shops around here, please give us a chance to correct the issue prior to broadcasting it to CNN. I can give you examples of things happening like this to other shops on another forum. I gave them a heads up as a courtesy and they were not even aware of a mistake that had been made. They were able to rectify the situation and all was well. It is just an easier way to do business.
Thanks, Don
