ok some of you guys need to learn to tell the difference between a generalized statement and a literal statement.

my point is, for every one of these guys who can actually go to an event and not make themselves look stupid, there's 50 knuckleheads that'll go through the intersection at virginia beach blvd and independence, jerk the wheel right and then left again while slamming the gas and yanking the e-brake, fishtail a couple times and call it a 'mad tyte drift'.

i'm just bitter because about 5 years ago when my 240 was a pretty rare thing in the 'import scene' people used to look at me like i was stupid when i talked about drifting, but now it's the coolest thing since the fast and the furious.

where the hell do these 'real' drifters practice at anyway? that was always an issue with me. i just don't feel comfortable taking my car to an industrial park at 3 am.
