SRT-4's and GTI's are both torque beasts, try launching a FWD turbo Honda. 180lb ft, and that doesn't come until really late in the RPMs. Go look up my thread about the "respect for N/A cars". There were a couple of different people that did various small write-ups on how to launch the car.
