do you buy gas everyday? I didnt think so. So if you boycott gas one day it means nothing because millions of others will still buy gas who arent keen to the boycott. And say a successful boycott was held, you would only put other americans out of business. The gas stations dont control gas prices, and neither does the government. OPEC is who controls gas prices. OPEC is selling barrels of oil right now for 66 dollars a barrel. Did you know it only costs 4 dollars to process a barrel? Dont blame the gas station owners, or the US government. Blame the middle eastern nations of OPEC.
Right now England is paying close to 7 dollars a gallon so I think they are getting hit worse than we are. Also, I was reading the recent issue of SCC where they took an STI and an EVO onto the wangan highway in japan and filled tanks at the gas station. It cost them 90 something dollars to fill each car at the gas station, but they didnt say how much per gallon.
