I dont see why people make a big fucking deal about running at the track. for starters racing from a roll is bullshit you may as well weigh both cars and put em on a dyno and compare numbers because you just eliminated any skill from the race. Secondly the surface is typicaly optimized for traction & controll at the track. not littered with gravel and pothholes, conditions great for say flipping a car (bells) but not for racing. then theres the fair start. the tree does not lie. why not use it? what i want to know is how a car is setup for racing on the street but isint for the track? 2 "street cars" running on a track are going to perform the same as they would on the street only difference i see here is its legal, safer, and leaves no question if the start was fair.
