it has to have a windshield, and it has to have body components that came stock. ride around without a door, and see what happens. its in the motor code, not in the inspection code though. but still, if the vehicle was made after jan 1 1951? (i gotta check that in the book, been a while since i took the test) it has to have a windshield.
