run the engine and w/ the headlights on, and then drive see if does the same thing, or does it give you a little more time before it blows the fuse.

Also chk if the light get dim or brighter with rpms?
Whats i'm getting to is, to see if the IC in the alt. is bad, overcharging, will blow the fuse to protect the ECM.
