people aren't born with all knowlege already stored in their brain, you learn by asking questions and experiences, just because he doesn't know something because he's never asked or never had that experience doesn't mean he's incompetant, you can be a competant rider and not know everything there is to know

he didn't say what year gsxr 600 anyways that i saw, a SRAD wouldn't be a horrible first bike choice, a 2006 gsxr 600 is another thing but even then unless he asks or is told, how is he to know any better?
