This is really more of personal preference. Stage 2 shouldnt present much of a idle problem as 3's will. Definelty research your cams for lift and duration. Biggest thing though, lift, you dont want to have any physical contact with the piston. Defiently measure your clearances.

You seem to know your stuff pretty well.
I was gonna say pretty close to the same thing.
Another thing is, you don't want cams to big for your compression(stage 5 Buddy Clubs on stock GsR), and you don't want cams that go too high in the rpms, unless you have a tuned(chipped whatever) ecu to go up into those higher rpms, along with the valve-train.
