haha, j/k. What do you mean by clean record? You dont have a SINGLE ticket for ANYTHING? I ask b/c I know some people will say they have a clean record when they really have a speeding ticket and a bs parking ticket.
However, if you truely do not have a single ticket, you might be "ok."
It would probably be wise to get a lawyer to represent you.
Either way, if you decide to represent yourself or get a lawyer, go to DMV and get a copy of your driving record. Go to court dressed appropriately and talk calmly with respect.
Va Beach Judges are pretty strict, but your chance of getting it dropped to a lower degree offense are pretty high, granted you have a clean record.
