  • Anyone who uses the term "ricer" immediately loses all credibility in my book.
  • All the cheap and corny crap you see on Civics (because that's what he was really talking about, right?) can be and is found on Mustangs, Camaros, etc etc.
  • There are a number of reasons young people start out with Civics. I know I'm generalizing but here's a big one: Imagine you're an average parent about to buy your teen his first car. Would you get him a Civic or a Z28?

The reason I personally will always choose an import over a domestic is build quality. I'd much rather have a car put together by someone who enjoys and values his job than some UAW lowlife just counting the minutes until his next smoke break. It's easier to make a Civic fast than it is to make a Camaro not squeak.
