You don't think a 1000hp Supra would have competition? You realize that the highest horsepower Supra's are typically built for the dyno only and are dyno queens made for bragging rights about how much power they make--not how fast they are, don't you? A 1000hp Supra might make a 10 second pass. I know of Honda's that could even put up a fight against that.

Just remember.. Horsepower is somewhat irrelevant when it comes to drag racing. You can make 3000hp and spin all the way down the track.. That doesn't make you fast.

And yes, I said it's somewhat irrelevant. I'm sure someone will contest that fact, but in reality, it's true. It's a big factor, but if you can't get your car to hook up, horsepower doesn't make a damn differnece.
