Build up the internals "rods, pistons, ect ect.' and then boost it, or take the chance now and run 6 pounds and run the chance. I never put boost on any high mileage honda ive owned but I dont know what the deal is with this 302. I guess im just looking for some expertise and some good advice so i can get the most power for what i can afford. I know what the charger would set me back at , and i hear internals are nearly half of what i pay for my imports so let me hear it
Get some long tube headers for it..and get some upgraded cats for starters...then after that, upgrade your intake manifolds, the upper and lower, with a upgraded TB,and MAF meter...but if you really want the best bang for your buck..get a Head package..that comes with two race heads,a cam,and intake..after that, its all chip/tuning...i say you dont do Forced induction yet...build up the motor some, with some bolt ons..see how much you can get out of it.
