Default Re: Increased cop presence in Hanover Co.?

This guy almost ran me off the road going North on I-95. I followed him up the highway and was thinking to call 911 on him or not. I wanted to be 100% sure he was drunk and not just looking for a CD or something. He was driving a mid 90's Taurus wagon and was very obviously drunk at times and then there were times when he was driving normally. When he finally ran off the road at 70mph and yanked the steering wheel back and almost hit a minivan in the middle lane I had enough. Called state police and by that time he was getting off the Ashland exit. I followed him down through RMC and he got out at a convience store near the train tracks. Keep in mind this was 2:30am and the store closed at 11pm. He stumbled out of the car, fell over the parking median and yanked on the door for a few mins. By this time I was transferred to Ashland PD and was giving them a description of the guy and gave them a tag # for the car. No lie, 10mins later after he was trying to lose me through RMC and random backroads on the other side of 54 he finally parked his car and passed out right there in the driver's seat with the car still running. I still sat behind his car a few cars back for another 2-3 mins before an officer got to me. The officer actually had to tap her mag-lite on the window to get him to wake up.

I had to stick around for another fuckin hour before they said I could go. I was driving the white NX2000 at the time and one officer actually commented that my harnesses weren't legal. Thanks fucker, go do your goddamn job and leave the people at the Waffle House alone for 10mins of your shift.
