I believe but am not sure on the red, I think its 112 or lower, I had a 55 galon drum of 116 and thats all I use. Its blue always has been. I also pay 7.5 a gallon, and if its 112 or red it has to be like 4.50 a gallon.

either way sounds like the guy was an idiot.

Now wheather or not theres diffrent color 116 I doubt, its always been blue. Its also leaded and bad for cars with O2 sensors and cats, and in most cases unless you got some high compression or boost will usually slow you down..especially 116. burns alot cooler, I had a fuel leak about a gallon on my hot headers and it did not burn, 93 I would have burnt the car down.

Oh yeh, you wont ever find 116 in anything but a drum...Not at any pump, at any gas station, except track maybe.
