Not trying to argue or anything. Usually what happens, it is easier and cheaper to just warranty the problem then deal with legal fees. I mean all you guys know that you abuse your cars when you race.
"I had my entire motor replaced under warranty, since it smoking and burning oil, and I had aftermarket parts and some were even !!! illegal !!!"
The illegal part is the real kicker. Nowadays it's just easier to fix the car and shut the customer up. The sad part is it's the mechanic who gets the shit end of the stick. Not the customer or the dealership or the manufacturer. Warranty work at dealerships pay the mechanic about 40% less pay.
While the warranty act is great for the consumer, it's a joke of a law. Here we are talking about cars that get the shit beat out of them, yet when they break it's the manufacturers fault. Yeah right.
