nope according to them you show up, tech your car. have a classroom meeting, and away you go but under supervision just as in an scca school.... or at least the way it used to be. Then at the end of the weekend if you prove your not better at say model ship building, you can run the time attack.... I know what your thinking but they havent had any incidents so far.. they are running the shennendoah circuit so its a little safer than the main circuit........
