Default Re: where/how to attain a private pilot's license??

yea just go to any private airport. You could go to cheasapeake regional (KCPK). Talk to a Clair D'Antonio. She just started instructing there. I got mine from Langley Aero club where she just finished working. She is a very good instructor and IS Very Very hot!! It was terribly distracting, but she is very professional.

If you do go to cheasapeake, tell here that Anthony Rendon says hey and that langley misses her. ha ha

What they will probably do is give you a checkride to see how you stand then start you off from a certain point in the FAA Private pilots training folder.

Other places to go are:

Williamsburg(KJGG), Newport News(KPHF), Langley Aero club(KLFI), and suffolk(KSFQ), and try (but i dont know) virginia beach aka. Apollo Soucek Field) [KNTU] . I know that all these places have aero clubs.
