Default Re: would you get an exotic car?

Instead of buying another car last year, I took a year off from work. That made me happy. Before that, spent a month in Thailand and had the absolute best time of my life. For me, cars are not a high priority and I've found other ways to spend my hard earned money. Now there is less disposable income since I took a 30 month contract working for the gov't instead of working private sector (which would have paid at least $50k/yr more). Love my new job and feel that I'm making a positive impact in the community.

Obviously, I'm not gonna try to persuade someone not to purchase something with their own money. For me, I can not justify at this time spending more than a year's salary on a car because my disposable income at the moment isn't what it used to be. That Maserati with the Tubi exhaust that I was looking to buy made my weiner dance and my wallet cry.
