For anyone who cares I took my car to Richmond Dragway yesterday.....

Made one aborted pass on the motor after I accidentally crept thru the lights and redlighted when the brakes wouldn't hold the car against the converter... I sat there for a brief instant unaware that I had already started the timers by redlighting then I mashed on it....

11.92@117.6 MPH...... Oh well at least it's an 11.....


There was talk in the pits about making Run Tough class go immediately into eliminations. Since I hate bracket racing and the cutoff for my class was 11.50 (which the car can run on motor alone) I decided to let it all hang out and run the TNT Nitrous system with the smallest jets in the nozzles.... So with the 100 shot flowing I left off idle to avoid the rolling thru the lights fiasco and hit the bottle when I was about 10-15 feet from the starting line.... and ran:

10.77@128.8 MPH with a 1.59 60 foot time....



Needless to say after that pass I was booted and sentenced to three days trimming mullets at Richmond Raceway... Can't wait to go back there and try the 150,200, and 250 shot jets...
