Well, a few years ago my freind and I got a General Reckless/Racing ticket (a little racing action and 64 in a 45). When we went to court, we didn't hire a lawyer. We just showed up in our finest Sunday outfits and played like good little boys. We admitted to the offense, talked like adults, and showed respect for the judge, officer, and the court. We got the Reckless/Racing ticket reduced to an "Improper Driving" ticket with no probation or driving school involved. BUT, this was before the Import craze really got started and I was driving my Mustang and he was in his Camaro.
