ok well i stopped looking at this thread a while ago because i thought i knew the problem but i didnt.

It is no longer a wiring problem.

what hole is supposed to be plugged. I didnt do the vtec conversion so im not sure if it is plugged but yes the oil feed from the sending unit is plugged to the head.

i took the solenoid a put it to 12v and it does click but nothing happens so it is not engaging.

a mechanic told me to check to see if there were dowels in each cam lobe and there are.

i put a new vtec solenoid on anyway and the thing it bolts on to and well vtec felt like it engaged for 1st gear because it pulled all the way till 10k but when i shifted to 2nd it didnt engage and never engaged since. i could have been mistaken but it never pulls past 7500 but that time it pulled hard till i shifted. I think i may have gotten crud in one of the oil passages or somehting??

i dunno im tired of trying so if you could help and give me some other suggestions i would greatly appreciate it.

Im going to install an oil pressure guage today so i know how much oil pressure im running.
