though the honda has kick ass reliability, replacement parts are EXPENSIVE
the yamaha parts are cheap, compared to every other 600 i've seen.
still don't know why yamaha's oem parts are so cheap compared to honda's/ suzuki's/kawi's???
an r1 crank is under $400, but a 1000rr crank is over $800?? hell, even an sv650 crank is $600 or so.
id go for the kawi 636, zx9 or zx10... replacement parts are not cheap because you dont have to replace the original ones after 6 months or so like other bikes...
