I dont know any racer that chooses the LS trans over an ITR or GSR. THE ITR may be a little too short, but the GSR is best suited for a boost app.

Well I need a cable tranny, unless i get the "hydro conversion". What cable tranny would be best for what I want to do..? I will be boosting in the summer time...wont be where I want to be with horsepower, I will be building another block so I can boost higher so just 9psi for summer time and then come next spring I will be boosting 20psi plus at the track.....suggestion's on tranny and flywheel combo?
