Default New guy INTRODUCTION

My name is Jesse. I have 3 cars; 1986 Porsche 944 turbo, 1988 Porshe 944S, 2001 Mustang GT conv. The Porsche turbo is RARELY driven. The 944S and mustang share time as daily drivers. I really only care about the 2 Porsches. Plenty of mine has gone into each. Here's some pics and mods of my pride and joy....

Engine
2.5L 8V Turbo
stock KKK K26 turbo (Equivalent to a T04E-40)
Vitesse Racing Engine Managment (chip/board)
Vitesse Racing Wasted Spark Ignition
Vitesse Racing Mass Air Flow Kit
Lindsey Racing Dual Port Wastegate w/ Manual Boost Controller
Lindsey Racing Fuel Rail kit w/ 72# injectors, 50psi Adjustable FPR
Lindsey Racing Full 3" turbo back exhaust (no cat, no muffler)
Lindsey Racing Intercooler Pipes (polished)
Speedforceracing Front Mount Intercooler
Zeitronix ZT-2 Wideband
SMT-6 piggyback

Here is a dyno chart from early Jan '06. The mods on this car were minimal at the time (Vitesse engine management/MAF kit 15.4psi boost, DP WG w/mbc). Note, I was using a stock 2.5" exhaust w/ the ORIGINAL 20 year old cat and muffler. That's why the numbers are so low. But if you look at the area under the curve, the power is very nice. Check out the WTQ @ 3500 rpms. MAX numbers were 248WHP 296WTQ.

Like i said the reason the numbers were so low is because of the restrictive stock exhaust. I couldn't hold boost because of all the back pressure. Peak WHP was made @11.5 psi instead of 15.4psi. Max WTQ was made @15.4psi But since I switched to a full 3" exhaust, The butt dyno has noticed a LOT more power.
